Alexandra has been a professional ballet dancer since she was 17 years old and has recently moved back to the states with her family after 21 years of dancing with the Royal Swedish Ballet in Stockholm Sweden. Prior to dancing in Sweden, Alexandra was with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre as a featured soloist for 4 years.
Alexandra has danced many beautiful roles such as the Principal role in George Balanchine’s Theme and Variations and Olga in Onegin. She has also performed many works of William Forsythe, Nils Christie and Nacho Duato.
Since retiring at age 42, Alexandra has been very successful in running her own business where she specializes in Pilates and Redcord training for strengthening, conditioning and rehabilitation. Alexandra teaches part time at Nazareth College and is now happy to join the team at Rochester City Ballet.
