Written by Sergei Prokofiev specifically to cultivate the love of music in young children, this classic Russian fantasy has become one of the best introductions to both the symphony and ballet since it was first performed in 1938.

Fun pre-performance activities, live music, narration by Jamey Leverett, and the opportunity to meet the dancers make this a very special experience for the entire family!

5/20, 21 & 22/2011 - The Blood Countess - World Premiere

Nazareth College Arts Center
Friday & Saturday - Times TBA

Elizabeth Bathory (1560-1614), the Blood Countess, was a cruel vain beauty known for bathing in the blood of virgin servant girls. In this visually stunning, original production, artistic director Jamey Leverett twists history - throwing the Blood Countess into the path of Count Dracula - asking the audience to contemplate the question of who is the predator, who is the prey?
