Jared Allan Brunson
As a Guest Artist with RCB, Jared Allan Brunson is a Saint Petersburg, FL native, and received his initial training in West African song, music and dance from Jai Hinson and Baba Chuck Davis. Jared went on to begin classical training by Suzzanne Pomerantzeff, garnering scholarships to schools at Boston Ballet, The Rock School, Houston Ballet, among others.
After working briefly with Florida Dance Theatre, Jared joined BalletX as one of its first full-time members. He participated in seven world premieres by Olivier Weavers, Nicolo Fonte, Matthew Neenan and more. He has been a guest at the Pennsylvania Ballet, Tulsa Ballet, Sacramento Ballet and the University of the Arts to name few.
Jared joined Oregon Ballet Theatre in 2013 performing works by Nacho Duato, George Balanchine and Christopher Stowell, and was shortly thereafter offered a contract with Ballet Memphis where he performed as a soloist and principal for four seasons. There, he has acquired acclaim in Dance Magazine, the New York Times and many national publications for his performances.
After three seasons dancing with Complexions Contemporary Ballet in NYC, Jared continues to also maintain teacher faculty positions, masters candidacy at University of the Arts, and his own fin-tech startup.
